Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") is meant to make clear what consider to be acceptable use of it policies.


If any of the policy listed below is being violated by you, your account will be suspended and a notification will be sent to you via email when possible. Your account will only be active if you explain or correct your behaviour within 48 hours. reserve the right to immediately suspend your account, without notice, or any content, or IP address which we determine to be illegal, spam, systematically generated, or potentially damaging to our service.


Public access to your content is blocked if your account is suspended. Access to your Chieflist account and the ability to add posts or edit it will also be restricted.


Redundant Content. is not intended to be a multi-purpose content aggregator. Users who import content that is unrelated to the purpose of will be suspended.



However the use of copyrighted material does not necessarily constitute infringement, as rule users should be careful when using copyrighted content without the content owner's permission. Sexually Explicit Video and Photographs.

User account that uses's upload feature to upload sexually explicit or pornographic content or material will be suspended with or without notice.



Users that post content which is not meaningful or relevant or use deceptive means to get revenue or generate traffic, or primarily post for the purpose of affiliate marketing, will be suspended.


Privacy and Identity Theft.

The use of the identity of someone else are not permitted. Users are not allowed to post other people's personally identifying or confidential information. Information such as other people's credit card numbers, Social Security Numbers, driver's and/or other license numbers, passwords, usernames, phone numbers, addresses and email addresses can not be posted.


Objectionable Content, Defamation, and Libel.

Objectionable content, hate speech that is unlawful, defamatory, and fraudulent are not allowed on Though an allegation of defamatory expression, doesn't establish defamation, as the truth or falsehood of an expression is a necessary element in establishing defamation, thus, as we are not in a position to make that sort of factual judgment, any statement that we have reason to believe could be defamatory will be removed.


Illegal Use.

Chieflist can not be used for illegal acts. Examples of this include using Chieflist for fraudulent or deceptive purposes.


Unauthorized Use. will terminate accounts of users and block access of individuals who attempt unauthorized use of chieflist


Automated or Mass Registration.

Automated or systematically registered accounts will be removed and access will be permanently suspended.
